England
Historic cities, charming seaside towns, captivating
landscapes, and a vibrant cultural and social scene — England, Scotland
and Wales make up an island of contrasts.
No visit would be complete without a trip to London, and a walk along
the river Thames past the famous Houses of Parliament, "Big Ben" and St
Paul's Cathedral, as well as some striking modern architecture. Besides
historic landmarks, history and pageantry, London offers an exciting
nightlife, great shops, beautiful parks and many museums and art
galleries. Away from the capital, you'll find spectacular and varied
scenery, from the rugged Cornish coast in the South West of England, to
the flat atmospheric fenlands in the East.
From castles to cathedrals, museums and musicals to diverse
architecture, friendly pubs to lively street markets, you'll find it all
and more in Britain. Whether you're interested in touring, dining,
sightseeing or buying (or all of the above!), with the endless
attractions of Britain from historical to cultural, you will never want
to leave.
